...and more. Whether you need your essay proofread, homepage rewritten or that important speech written from scratch, contact us for an affordable quote.

We write in British English, although we do have experience of writing for an international (mostly American) audience. Good practice when it comes to structure, layout, paragraphing etc is universal!

Who Are We?

Harriet Morris
I graduated in 1993 with an honours degree in French Studies from the University of Manchester here in the UK. After a break I taught languages for 10 years, as well as Special Educational Needs, general primary teaching and English Language GCSE.

I have been writing non-fiction purely for pleasure for years. In 2006 my writing skills won me a competition to meet Paul McKenna, Britain's leading life coach.

I have had 2 articles - Through The Rabbit Hole(2006) and
Best Lesson, Worst Lesson (2008) - published in the prestigious
Times Educational Supplement. I have also written over 50 online articles for Ezinearticles and Suite 101 among others.

In 2008 I set up the parenting website www.toddler-ideas.com . Teaching myself how to build a website was a steep learning curve, but this experience has made it easier for me to help newbie web publishers, especially those who don'tsee themselves as 'natural born writers'.

As a French, Spanish and German speaker, I am the only person I know who actually loves grammar and spelling! I really enjoy proofreading and not just improving others' writing, but helping them to express themselves in the most effective way possible.

Emily Hann Thomas
I graduated in 1993 from Queen’s University in Belfast with a degree in English. After college I co-founded theatre company Kabosh Productions Ltd and co-wrote adapations of A Christmas Carol,
The Elves and The Shoemaker
and Rumpelstiltskin for the theatre. In Ireland I also contributed to a commemorative book on Samuel Beckett.

I am a trained English teacher (PGCE) and have taught children and adults in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Switzerland. I also have a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults).

While Harriet enjoys the nuts and bolts of English I prefer the more poetic eccentricites and ambiguities of the language!

I am currently in the last stages of completing my postgraduate diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism. I particularly enjoy writing travel and entertainment features, and also subediting other people’s work.
